Canada tech immigration: Why techies choose Canada over the US?

In the recent years, the US has introduced a number of restrictions for immigrating tech workers that have prompted these techies to think about a better alternative. In June this year, US President Donald Trump suspended immigration for certain visa holders including H1-B visas, which are issued to highly skilled foreign professionals.

Further, immigrants make up 25 per cent of the overall workforce of Canada.
