The Express Entry candidates who successfully apply for and receive provincial nomination from Manitoba would be awarded 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score points that would guarantee them an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw. To be considered for provincial nomination from Manitoba, an Express Entry candidate must have work experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Manitoba, besides meeting other eligibility criteria.

In the October 10 Manitoba draw, a total of 147 LAAs were issued candidates belonging to Skilled Worker in Manitoba category. Eligible temporary foreign workers in the province and international graduates from the post-secondary institutions in Manitoba can apply for a provincial nomination under this category.
To be eligible under Skilled Worker in Manitoba category, the candidate must have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Manitoba employer, besides meeting other criteria. The first step in applying for provincial nomination through this category is submitting an Expression of Interest. Each Expression of Interest profile submitted this way is assessed on the basis of a number of eligibility factors and awarded a score out of 1000. The highest scoring candidates are invited to apply for provincial nomination in the draws that are conducted regularly. The lowest EoI score of Skilled Worker in Manitoba candidates invited in the October 10 draw was 567.
Skilled Worker Overseas selected in October 10 Manitoba draw
The total number of LAAs issued to Skilled Worker Overseas candidates in the October 10 Manitoba draw was 22. These candidates were invited directly through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Candidates under this category are also selected through an Expression of Interest (EoI) system. The minimum EoI score required for Skilled Worker Overseas candidates in the October 10 draw was 718.
International Education Stream
In the October 10 draw, 24 LAAs were issued to candidates under the International Education Stream. The stream has three sub-categories: Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
