How to obtain Canada PNP visa without a job offer in 2020?

without a job offer

Canada Provincial Nominee Program is fast gaining popularity as the most viable and fast-track pathway for migrating to Canada. Unlike the Express Entry system, even those without a job offer and those having low Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score find it easier to obtain Canada PR through Canada PNP. Though certain Canada PNP immigration pathways require the candidates to have a job offer to qualify, there are certain other PNP programs that allow candidates to apply for Canada PR without a job offer.

The most popular PNP immigration pathways which provide nominations to candidates without a job offer are:

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The province of Saskatchewan has a fast-growing economy, which demands more skilled workers. Occupations In-Demand is a sub-category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) through which foreign workers without a job offer may apply for a provincial nomination. In order to qualify under this sub-category, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • Legal residential status in the country from where they are applying
  • Minimum Language proficiency equal to Canadian Language Benchmark(CLB) 4
  • Post-secondary education with a duration of at least one year
  • Work experience of at least one year in a highly skilled occupation classified under NOC 0, A or B. The work experience must have been acquired within the past 10 years.
  • Required licenses to practice their profession in Saskatchewan
  • Sufficient settlement funds
  • Score at least 60 out of 100 in the unique points grid system of Saskatchewan.

QSWP (Quebec Skilled Worker Program)

Candidates without a job offer may obtain Canada PR through Quebec Skilled Worker Program(QSWP). In order to apply under the Program, the candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Legal residential status in the country from where they are applying
  • Language proficiency equal to at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)4 in English or French
  • Post-secondary level education or training
  • Work experience of at least one year acquired during the past 10 years. The work experience must be in a highly skilled occupation related to the candidate’s field of study, which is classified under NOC 0, A or B.
  • Licenses required to practice their profession in Quebec
  • Sufficient settlement funds
  • Score at least 60 out of 100 in the unique points grid system of Quebec.

Nova Scotia Nominee Program

You may immigrate to Canada through Nova Scotia Nominee Program(NSNP) without a job offer, if you meet the following requirements:

  • Your age must be between 18 and 49
  • Meet the minimum language requirements
  • Work experience of at least one year in the designated field
