Manitoba PNP Express Entry
Express Entry is the main immigration pathway for skilled workers to settle in Canada. One can directly apply for Canada immigration through Express Entry. The candidates who apply through Express Entry for Canada immigration are assessed and ranked on the basis of Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score. CRS score is awarded on the basis of various human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency etc. Those Express Entry candidates who receive provincial nomination are awarded an additional 600 CRS score points. It guarantees them an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
Manitoba PNP Skilled Worker Immigration
To receive a provincial nomination from Manitoba PNP under either Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams, you need to submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP. Each Expression of Interest profile is assessed and awarded a score out 100 based on various eligibility factors and previous connections to Manitoba.
Both Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams are designed to allow the province to nominate skilled workers who can meet their labour market needs. Skilled Workers Overseas candidates need to demonstrate previous connection to the province in the form of close family members living here or previous work or study experience or an invitation received through one of the Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of Manitoba.
To receive an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, the candidate must have a full-time job offer from a Manitoba employer.
International graduates, who have completed their education in one of the higher education institutions of Manitoba, may receive an invitation under the International Education Stream, if they demonstrate skills that are in demand in the province.
