In the Ontario PNP draw held on March 2, the province invited 754 Express Entry candidates with work experience in one of the 10 targeted occupations. The Comprehensive Ranking System score of the invited candidates ranged between 463 and 467.
The candidates were selected through the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program(OINP). The invited candidates also had work experience in one of the 10 targeted occupations, which are:

The invited candidates were also required to have work experience of at least one year in these occupations. If invited candidates successfully apply for and obtain provincial nomination from Ontario, they will have 600 additional CRS score points added to their total score.
In 2020, Ontario issued 6716 invitations through the HCP stream, which is the largest proportion of nominations issued under any of the Express Entry-linked streams under OINP.
During the pandemic, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC) held several PNP-only draws. In the later half of the year, IRCC also held all-program draws that invited candidates who had scores above the CRS cut-off score.
Canada Express Entry system
The Express Entry system of Canada manages applications for immigration under the three federal economic immigration programs, which are the Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. The Express Entry candidates are assessed on the basis of various eligibility factors such as age, education, work experience, language ability etc. under the Comprehensive Ranking System. Those with the highest score receive invitation in the federal Express Entry draw.
