Express Entry BC

The Express Entry stream of BC PNP is linked to the federal Express Entry system. The Express Entry candidates who receive provincial nomination from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) will receive an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score points that will guarantee the candidate an invitation to apply in the subsequent Express Entry draw.
The candidates nominated through the BC PNP Skills Immigration Stream will have their applications processed outside the Express Entry system.

BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS)

The Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) allows the province to select the best foreign workers who can meet its labor market demands. SIRS is a point-based application system and applicants under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) belonging to  Skilled Worker, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, and International Graduate categories must register with SIRS. Registration is free and the registered candidates are assessed on the basis of a number of factors including job, location in B.C., education, language ability and wage. Based on this, each candidate is assigned a score and his/her profile is entered to the selection pool of their chosen category. The profile will remain in the pool for up to 12 months or until the candidate receives an invitation to apply.
