WHATSAPPThe Canadian province of Ontario has sent 380 Notifications of Interests (NOIs) to candidates from Express Entry pool under its Human Capital Priorities Stream. This is the second time this week candidates are issued NOIs under this Stream, which is aligned to Express Entry system of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The candidates who have received NOIs can now apply for provincial nomination by Ontario for Canada immigration. The successful candidates will get an additional 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
In the latest round of selection, NOIs were sent to candidates with CRS scores ranging from 433 to 444. Only those profiles which were submitted to Express Entry pool between January 1st and January 28th 2018 were considered for selection.
The lowest required CRS score of 433 in the latest selection round is seven points lower than the minimum required score for the previous round held on January 23rd.
The Human Capital Priorities Stream
The Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), which is aligned to Express Entry, aims to welcome skilled workers to permanently settle and work in Ontario. Through this stream, Ontario invites candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to apply for provincial nomination. In order to be eligible for the Human Capital Priorities Stream, the candidates must have a minimum of 400 points in the CRS. Last year also, the Human Capital Priorities Stream was most active and in the coming future as well, more NOIs are expected to be sent under this Stream.
