OINP’s Human Capital Priorities Immigration Stream: Update

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Human Capital Priorities Immigration Stream (HCP) has reached its registration intake limit after opening for applications last Thursday, November 2. No additional registrations will be accepted at this point. However, the program will issue more Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to eligible Express Entry candidates in the pool before the end of the year.
Additional Updates on HCP:

  • NOIs issued before November 1, 2017, are valid for six months or until December 31, 2017.
    • Candidates must submit their application within six months of receiving their NOI.
  • NOIs issued after November 1, 2017, are valid for 45 days or until December 31, 2017
    • Candidates must submit their application within 45 days of receiving their NOI.
  • The validity of NOIs issued in 2017 end after December 31, 2017.
    • However, if an application is approved in late 2017, the nomination certificate will be issued in early 2018.
