Intakes and Language Requirements
Public Universities have intakes in February and September and the medium of instruction is English. International students have to qualify IELTS /TOEFL or PTE as one of the admission requirement. The University of Malaya
The University of Malaya is the oldest and most esteemed public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The University is divided into 12 faculties namely Law, Engineering, Dentistry, Medicine, Built Environment, Economics and Administration, Business and Accountancy, Education, Science, Languages, Arts and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Information Technology. Universiti Putra Malaysia
Founded in 1931, Universiti Putra Malaysia, or UPM, is one of Malaysia’s leading research Universities. On 2015, UPM was ranked 45th in Best Global Universities for Agricultural Sciences of U.S. News & World Report College and University Ranking. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a public research University in Malaysia and a research- intensive university in engineering, science, and technology. UTM gained its University status in 1975. UTM has more than 5,000 international students from more than 60 countries, the highest international student population among research universities in Malaysia. UTM has two campuses; the main campus is in Skudai, Johor and the other in Kuala Lumpur. UTM has ranked 288 th as per QS world University rankings 2016. UTM offers a number of courses at all the levels of higher studies: Undergraduates, Graduates, and Doctor of Philosophy.
Universiti Sains Malaysia
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is the second oldest university in Malaysia and one of the premium Research Intensive University in the country. The Universiti has 3 campuses USM offers a number of research-based courses in various study areas of Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Building Sciences & Technology, Social Sciences, Language, and Education. On 2015, USM was ranked 289th in QS world University Rankings. USM is one of six universities in Malaysia that have been identified as research-intensive universities in Malaysia.
University of Nottingham
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus is the first British University branch campus in Malaysia. The courses taught in Nottingham Malaysia are of same in the UK and the quality of education is assessed by Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. The degrees that are awarded are accredited by international professional bodies such as the Association of MBAs and the UK Engineering Council. Scholarships are available for International students applying for Masters and the value of the scholarship is from 50 % to 100 %. Monash University is well known for the MBBS degree and the university has received accreditation from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) for its MBBS programme. The university has recently received full accreditation from the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) in 2010.
