Saskatchewan experiences humid continental climate where summers are warm, and winters are cold. Sub-arctic climate gives mild summers and cold winters in the northern part of the province.           Saskatchewan Polytechnic is the collection of 4 colleges in Saskatchewan province namely,

  • Saskatchewan Technical Institute (Moose Jaw)                        – 1959
  • Central Saskatchewan Technical Institute (Saskatoon)           – 1963
  • Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts & Science (Regina)   – 1972
  • Northern Institute of Technology (Prince Albert)                     – 1986

The institute act and regional colleges act encapsulated these colleges as Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in 1988. This again turned as Saskatchewan Polytechnic College in 2014. These colleges are offering diversified courses and have a strong mission of creating a possibility for a successful career to its students.
