Prince Edward Island Express Entry stream
Under the Prince Edward Island Express Entry stream, the province issues Notification of Interest to Express Entry candidates who have the skills that are in demand in the province. The in-demand skills vary according to the needs of the labour market. Those Express Entry candidates who are nominated by Prince Edward Island will get 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score points that would guarantee them an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the subsequent Express Entry draw.
Critical Workers Stream
The Critical Worker Stream of PEI PNP is an employer-driven stream that allows PEI employers to hire foreign workers if they are unable to fill a vacancy with local talent. Only those who are currently working in PEI are able to apply under this stream. Though an Express Entry profile is not required to apply under the Critical Workers Stream, the candidate must have work experience in Prince Edward Island as well as a job offer in an occupation classified under NOC C or D of the National Occupation Classification.
Skilled Worker in Prince Edward Island Stream
