Saskatchewan Expression of Interest

In order to receive an invitation to apply for provincial nomination from Saskatchewan, the candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) profile to SINP. The Expression of Interest system is used by Saskatchewan to manage skilled worker applications. Each Expression of Interest profile submitted is assessed on the SINP International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid and awarded a score out of 100. Those with the highest score receive invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Though a job offer is not required to receive an invitation, the candidates are required to have at least one year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation. The occupation must also be related to their education.

Saskatchewan Express Entry

The Express Entry category of SINP is aligned to the federal Express Entry system. The Express Entry system of Canada manages applications under the three federal economic immigration programs, which are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. To be eligible under the Express Entry category of SINP, the candidate must prove their eligibility under any of these programs. Those who receive invitation and successfully apply for a provincial nomination are awarded 600 additional CRS points, which guarantee them an invitation to apply for permanent residence.

Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand category

Those who do not have an Express Entry profile may apply under the Occupations In-Demand category. Under this category, Saskatchewan invites who have work experience in occupations that are demand in Saskatchewan’s labour market.
